These General Terms of Sale govern all purchases made on the website oceparis.com (the "Website"), operated by Océ Paris. By placing an order on the Website, you accept these terms in full.

1. Scope

These terms apply to all orders placed by a customer ("you", "the customer") with Océ Paris ("we", "us") for products sold on the Website, to the exclusion of all other conditions. They apply regardless of the country from which the order is placed, subject to the delivery restrictions set out below.

3. Products

Products offered for sale are described and presented as accurately as possible. Photographs are illustrative and not contractually binding; minor variations in colour or texture may occur due to screen display or the nature of the materials used.


We reserve the right to modify the range of products offered at any time, and to discontinue or update any product without prior notice. Orders are subject to the availability of products at the time the order is placed.

4. Prices

Delivery costs are indicated separately before the order is confirmed and are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.


Océ Paris reserves the right to change its prices at any time. Products are invoiced on the basis of the price in force at the time the order is placed.

5. Orders

To place an order, select the desired products and sizes, add them to your cart, and follow the checkout steps to provide delivery and payment details. You will receive an order confirmation by email once your order has been accepted.


Océ Paris reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including suspected fraud, payment issues, or product unavailability.

6. Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of ordering. Accepted payment methods are indicated at checkout and are processed through Shopify's secure payment infrastructure. Océ Paris does not store your card details.


Your order will only be confirmed once payment has been successfully authorised.

7. Delivery

Delivery times are indicated on the Website at the time of ordering and are given as an estimate. Océ Paris will make every reasonable effort to meet these timeframes but cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the carrier or by circumstances beyond its control.


Risk of loss or damage to products passes to the customer upon delivery. Please check the condition of your parcel upon receipt and report any issue as soon as possible.

8. Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer ordering from within the European Union, you have a legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason. The full procedure, conditions, and model withdrawal form are set out on our Right of Withdrawal page.

9. Returns and Refunds

Beyond the right of withdrawal described above, any return must be requested within the timeframe indicated on our Right of Withdrawal page. Returned items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with all tags attached.


Refunds are issued using the original payment method within 14 days of Océ Paris receiving the returned item, or of the customer providing proof that the item has been sent back, whichever is earlier.

10. Legal Warranties

Regardless of any right of withdrawal, all products sold benefit from the legal warranties provided under French law:


  • Legal warranty of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the Code de la consommation): products must conform to the contract of sale. This warranty applies for two years from the date of delivery.

  • Warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the Code civil): applies where a defect existed at the time of purchase, was not apparent, and renders the product unfit for its intended use.

11. Liability

Océ Paris cannot be held liable for the non-performance of the contract in the event of stock shortage or unavailability of the product, force majeure, disruption or total or partial strike, particularly of postal services and means of transport, or in the event of misuse of the products by the customer.

13. Consumer Mediation

In accordance with Article L616-1 of the Code de la consommation, if a dispute cannot be resolved directly with our customer service, you are entitled to refer the matter, free of charge, to a consumer mediator.

[Océ Paris must register with an approved consumer mediation body before publishing this clause — this is a legal requirement for any French business selling to consumers, not an optional add-on. Note: the EU's online "ODR" dispute platform, previously a standard mention in CGV documents, was permanently discontinued in July 2025 and should not be referenced. For cross-border EU disputes, customers can be directed to the European Commission's list of consumer dispute resolution bodies at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.]

16. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from an event of force majeure as defined by French law and case law.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These General Terms of Sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution or resolution through consumer mediation, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent French courts.

18. Severability

Should any clause of these General Terms of Sale be held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining clauses shall continue to apply in full.
